i met caitlin, joe, and grey at beautiful Song Hill Reserve on a chilly morning last weekend.  we couldn’t have asked for a nicer morning or better location.  the sky was bright blue and the trees were in full autumn mode…yellows, reds, oranges…just yummy.  i was so excited that caitlin decided to book a mini session this year.  she and i went to school together.  and while a few years separated us, her brother and i were friends.  since then, she had found her lobster, gotten married, and she and joe welcomed their sweet baby, lil’ grey, about 6 months ago.  and as you know, i am a sucker for babies.  i was so looking forward to meeting grey and he did not disappoint.  such a happy little guy.  he just grinned and drooled all morning.

p.s. how could i forget to mention petey, who joined in on the fun…most well behaved dog ever!

jamie, john, and their two little ones had been clients of nicholle’s for a couple years prior to asparagus.  i had seen many pictures and heard just as many stories about this wonderful family.  so i was oh so excited that they decided to use me after nic moved (sniff sniff) to Kansas.  it was so great to actually get to meet them this past weekend. jamie and john have a beautiful farm in Abingdon and we decided that would be the perfect location.  they were also gracious enough to let me shoot their good friends vicki, brandon, and seth there as well.

jamie and john’s little ones…  jw and katherine are two of the cutest stinkin’ kids ever. at 3, jw is such a sweetheart…very curious.  little sis katherine is 15 months and fuuuuull of energy.  she did not want to sit still for a minute (like any other child her age).

jamie and john, you have such a fabulous laid back family.  i just loved spending the afternoon with you guys.  hope you enjoy your peek!

just a quick holiday mini peek… i had the pleasure of meeting Vicki, Brandon, and Seth this past weekend in Bristol.  such a wonderful family full of laughter and love.  watching them interact completely made my day.  nothing makes my job easier than a family who can put their nervousness aside and just be themselves in front of the camera…  even though Seth had a little more fun standing beside me and dancing trying to make his parents laugh.  thank you guys so much for having me up the mountain… hope you enjoy your peek!
